We want to pass along some information to you. Someone who has regularly attended the daily Mass and the 11:00 Sunday Mass and has served as a Eucharistic Minister has tested positive for the Covid virus, though is asymptomatic.
If you attended these Masses, please monitor your own health and notify your physician with any questions, concerns or symptoms. The church has been deep cleaned and the proper authorities informed. If you prefer not to remain in the church at this time, we certainly understand.
With prayers for all who are affected by this illness
We would like to remind everyone about the procedure for receiving Holy Communion. Masks fully cover the nose and mouth. Follow the direction of the ushers. Even if there are no ushers, please follow these guidelines.
There should be only one line approaching the communion minister, not double lines in the aisle. You should be six feet behind the person in front of you. When you come to the minister, place one hand upon the other in as flat a manner as possible. Before consuming the Blessed Sacrament, proceed to the open blue box on the floor. When arriving there, remove your mask, consume the Blessed Sacrament, and continue back to your seat by the side aisle.
You are reminded to follow the directions of the ushers and exit the church by the side aisles. If there are no ushers, exit by the side aisles, careful to keep six feet between you and the person ahead of you. Thank you.
A reminder that we are always in need of volunteer ushers and cleaners.
