Boys of the Choir

The boys receive an education not to be found elsewhere, as the prestigious St. Paul’s Choir School is the only Catholic boys’ Choir School in the United States. Each day, the boys are trained in singing, music theory, and instrumental music, in addition to standard academic disciplines. We hope to instill in each boy a sense of the privilege of serving the Church in respect of its liturgies, tradition, history, teachings and culture.

While school is in session, the boys sing at Mass Tuesday through Friday, Vespers on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and at the 11 a.m. Mass on Sundays. The Choir sings at all the major liturgical celebrations of the Church, as well as at special services, events and concerts.

Our students come from many different walks of life. Some are musically and liturgically experienced, while others are complete beginners. Potential and dedication are the main requirements. We expect our boys to be bright and to have promising musical ears, but do not necessarily expect them to be musically trained or experienced. If you know a boy who would benefit from these exceptional opportunities, please visit to request more information.
