COVID-19 Positive Test Notification – Friday, October 9, 2020

We want to pass along some information to you. Someone who has regularly attended the daily Mass and the 11:00 Sunday Mass and has served as a Eucharistic Minister has tested positive for the Covid virus, though is asymptomatic. If you attended these Masses, please monitor your own health and notify your physician with any questions, concerns or symptoms.  The church has been deep cleaned and the proper authorities informed.  If you prefer not to remain in the church at this time, we certainly understand. We will need at least four persons who commit to cover one hour throughout the day and night. Please look ahead to your schedule and plan when might be best for you. Confessors will also be available. The state legislature has extended the session until January 5, 2021. Please remind the members of the Joint Committee on Judiciary that you oppose the expansion of abortion in Massachusetts. PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN Per the Archdiocese of Boston, as part of serving in ANY ministry at St. Paul’s, or any parish in the Archdiocese, Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) checks are obtained for all volunteers who minister to or have the potential for unmonitored access to children, youth, elderly or the disabled.  CORI checks with a valid ID take place before you start practicing your ministry. Covid-19 Positive Test Notification – Monday, July 27

We were just informed that someone who attended Mass on Sunday, July 19 at 11:00 AM and Saturday, July 25 at 9:00 AM tested positive for COVID-19.  The person was asymptomatic, wore a mask, did not receive Holy Communion and followed all the guidelines set forth by the church and state.  Since all guidelines were taken, we of course do want to want to err on the side of caution.  Please monitor your own health and know that a thorough, deep, cleaning and disinfecting will take place today.

Remember to Reserve a Seat for Mass

Friends, We are looking forward to seeing one another at St. Paul’s soon.  Like many other parishes, we have a new procedure in place that you would follow to allow for your participation at Mass.  (Please remember that those over 65 years old and those who have any underlying medical concerns are advised not to come to Mass at this time.  If you are sick in any way, you cannot come to Mass.)
