COVID-19 Positive Test Notification – Saturday, November 14, 2020

Just a brief announcement:   we learned on Saturday afternoon that one of our parishioners who attended the 7:30 AM Mass on Sunday, November 8 has been diagnosed with COVID-19.  The Cambridge Board of Health and the Archdiocese of Boston have been informed. The person, who was asymptomatic at the time, had observed all protocols before entering the church, kept a mask in place throughout the Mass (removing it only to receive communion), and left the church immediately following the Mass.  The church is regularly cleaned. SVDP Virtual Giving Tree Appeal

Each year, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul assists 30-40 local families at the holidays through our Thanksgiving meals and Giving Tree gift program.  The incredible generosity of the St. Paul Parish family has been the backbone of this program for over 25 years. We want to pass along some information to you. Someone who has regularly attended the daily Mass and the 11:00 Sunday Mass and has served as a Eucharistic Minister has tested positive for the Covid virus, though is asymptomatic. If you attended these Masses, please monitor your own health and notify your physician with any questions, concerns or symptoms.  The church has been deep cleaned and the proper authorities informed.  If you prefer not to remain in the church at this time, we certainly understand.
