“Confirmation completes the grace of Baptism by a special outpouring of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which seal or ‘confirm’ the baptized in unison with Christ and equip them for active participation in the worship and apostolic life of the Church” (The Glossary of the Catechism of the Catholic Church). The Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit are: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord.
1. Two-year, high school Confirmation program (Grades 9 and 10).

Adult Confirmation for undergraduate students, graduate students, and adults in the community who have already been Baptized and received First Holy Communion, will take place at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross on Saturday, April 18 at 11:00 am. 3. Baptized Catholic adults who have not received either Holy Communion or Confirmation wishing to complete the Sacraments of Initiation in the Roman Catholic Church. Please see the tab regarding the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
